Dialogue and engagement, European projects, Others

The NANODIALOGUE project was a Specific Support Action under the FP6 NMP programme which ran from 2005 – 2007. It aimed to provide information and raise awareness among the general public on the latest developments in nanotechnologies and nanosciences.

It also implemented social dialogue at European level between the research community, citizens and other social actors in order to identify main issues and expectations from these groups. The project illustrated the main social concerns about nanotechnology. It explored different communication tools and produced exhibition modules, a web site including specific tools for collecting data on citizens’ expectations and organised a European conference targeted to relevant experts, decision makers and stakeholders.

The project website is no longer active, but the final report of the project is available at: http://cordis.europa.eu/documents/documentlibrary/102583451EN6.pdf
