AIRI is a non-profit association representative of a national network of industries and public research institutions. Amongst its members are the major industrial players in Italy, representing the industrial sectors, and the main public research organizations.
AIRI is a key reference to decision-makers and its mission is to foster cooperation between public research and industry to promote research and innovation. Emerging technologies are at the forefront of its action with a special focus on Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI).
Nanotec IT is a division of AIRI, and is a focal point for nanotechnologies in Italy, with a great part of the Italian players, private and public involved in this field amongst its associates. Its mission is to promote nanotechnologies, acting as a bridge between industry and public research and to foster international cooperation.
